MTP

Last night I had a terrible dream about MTP. It even woke me up - twice. Just for the record: the last time I had this dreadful subject was in 2002. I swear that in the morning I had to go online and check my school schedule to be sure I'm not having exam from MTP anytime soon.
And now I don't feel like going to bed because I'm afraid that my subconscious will play tricks on me again.
Damn, what's so special about MTP? I passed much worse exams.

I can see some of you laughing at me now :P

Russian plane lands in Prague after hijack attempt

This was the news shown on TV the whole day long. Very amusing (when you know it has happy ending). First it seemed that the flight from Moscow to Geneva was taken to Prague on purpose. So yeah, I was wondering why would anyone prefer to go Prague than to Geneva. Just compare: Czech Republic - Switzerland. Is it possible that someone would like to go to Prague so much that he was ready to hijack the plane? No. Later it turned out that the hijacker requested to go to ... (drum-roll) ... Cairo.
I'm still having stomachache from how much I laughted :)))

AI Weekly Newsletter

Just wondering ... why does AI or Global Members community or .net or anything/anyone else think that I would like to get [Global Members] AIESEC International Weekly Newsletter 10-20 times every week? No, seriously, WHY? Anyone else facing the same? Is this some new AI strategy how to keep members informed?
This week score: 18 (till now)

I officially speak Russian

I got the paper stating that I'm proficient in Russian language. This is the paper I tried to get a year ago with no success. This time I came there and got it without saying a single word in Russian. Quoting: "I remember you from February. I see no reason to cause you any problem." Here it is:
I expect words of astonishment, guys! It took me 10 months to get it! Actually, I got it on a day when I decided not to apply for any study abroad programme so I will not use it :) But hey, I officially speak Russian :)))

The thing on the table is my laptop. It was the first time I let my brother touch it with his screwdriver and I do not regret (yet). My only concern now is the six screws that are left after we put all the things back together. Heh, I hope they were not important :)

Bored?

Hmm, I thought that this week would be a bit boring. Jana is finishing her thesis, Marťa is back in Egypt and Jiřinka went to visit her fiancé in Spain. I was wrong :) Friday night I went to Lucerna Music Bar for the first time in my life. It was full of weird people and a lot of weird music - 80's and 90's - "golden hits" like 24/7 or 2 Unlimited. I think @ers like the place because they play Cotton Eye Joe there.
On Saturday I met with Zuzka B. who came to Prague from Hungary for the weekend again. We spoke for 6 hours and the output is that I have full head of applying for CEMS. This is a bit confusing because I was already decided to graduade as soon as possible and this would make the "possible" a bit later. Plus I don't have time to think about it because the applications are the upcoming week. So, it will be probably just a random strike and then we will see. Or not. After the experience from the last year, I don't feel like proving my language skills. Or rather ... I don't know how to do it.
