Dolce Vita
I love my current life style. Attending interesting classes, meeting my girls, drinking coffee and chatting - overall having fun. I'm kind of sad that soon this will be over and I can't do anything about it. Of course there is also the reverse side: I don't have money (Egypt se mnou opět pěkně vyjebal - why does it not surprise me any more?). But anyway, the best things in life are for free :)
Now I understand those of my friends that were about to graduate and didn't show a sign of enthusiasm. Adult life doesn't seem to be much fun.
Happy
It's so good to meet old friends. Thursday evening was just *p*e*r*f*e*c*t*. We first met in the OC of OPS in 2000 and our friendship became very special. A lot has changed. Dan is already living his grown-up life while I'm still screaming and kicking in order not to be tied up by the ordinary life. Nevertheless we spoke for hours and haven't finished yet. This evening is "To be continued..."
Finally 2
The slackers from Erste finally replied and I'm having an interview on Monday :))) (this is the company where I keep applying since January)
Finally
We have the lock in the bathroom door since yesterday evening. Now I can consider the reconstruction to be officially over.
Job hunt
While I'm searching for a new job I really feel like I was a main character in some surreal comic novel. Most of the stories are really short: I find an advertisement, I send the CV and they never reply (or I get an automatic negative response 4 weeks later).Other companies are even better in ignoring the applicants:Jan - I get an infomailing about a vacancy for which I am a perfect match. I send CV. No reply.Feb - I see the exactly same position on a job server. This time I apply online. No reply.March - Meeting the company at Career Days. The director was impressed how much I knew about the company. I told him the story. He gave me his business card to send him my CV. I did. Guess what ... till today no reply! No, it's not like I never get to the next level - interview. There was a company where I went through two selection rounds including a 45 minutes long discussion about corporate finance (after this the state exam will be a piece of cake). Three days later they changed the selection criteria.Another story:Week 1 - going for a coffee with Kevin, me complaining about the job hunt. He offered to show my CV to the HR department.Week 2 - Kevin calling that the HR is not interested in part-time but his boss Simon has something to offer and I should expect his call.Week 3 - meeting Simon at Career Days. He apologized for not calling me yet and promised to do it the following week.Week 4 - we finally arranged the interview and when I came there I found out Simon was busy with a conference call so I was meeting the HR person. Ha! We talked for an hour but the only output was that (surprisingly) they don't take anyone for part-time.If I had any artistic ambitions I would write a book. Some chapters of my life would make laugh a lot of people. I'm sure God must already have hiccup from all that fun he has with playing tricks on me :)))
Good, I'm not that dumb
Yesterday I successfully passed the Analytical Thinking Test as a part of the recruitment process at one of the "Big 4" companies. Not that I would like to get the job, but it is good to know that I can think analytically and logically as I aspire to be financial or business analyst :)))BTW this is another proof that God is a joker. Can you imagine that after last summer I should work in a business complex called The Nile House?
I can't get this out of my head

I tried to avoid the blogosphere lately
There were several reasons for it:- Everybody going to IPM in Egypt. You know, I don't care about someone else having fun there.- Anytime I tried to blog the New Blogger turned my blogging mood into bitching mood.- I'm searching for a new part-time job.- I miss Armenia terribly (this post was here about 100 times).- I learn in-line skating :)- Overall I'm having fun with unbloggable things.- Hey! You don't blog either ;)
